2 weeks agoTo preface this is for the food truck. I should also say I never even got to eat the food, but I couldn’t because it took 1 hour for my wife to get our food. I could’ve drove to HEB, got a bag of potatoes and chicken, drove home, bake a potato and fry chicken, eat, and clean up before they finished and save $40. It’s one thing to take a long time. It another to know it’s going to take a long time and not say anything. It’s also another thing to give your friends food before others that have been waiting 30+ min for your food. My kids went to the pool and swam before this food came out. I had to leave for a class I teach after waiting 45 min for food, then my wife waited another 15 min in a hot 90° humid parking lot with our two kids. Absolutely ridiculous. You want a better rating? Get your food out so people can eat it:

a month agoFast service. Good portions. Fresh food. Got the chicken fried chicken, delicious. Gravy was on point. Chicken was savory. Baked potato was soft and buttery. Enjoyed sitting outdoors at picnic tables. Indoor area also available.

2 months agoSometimes you get that first bite and you have to immediately eat eat five more. Chicken Fried Chicken here is that. It's if you had fried chicken for Thanksgiving. I'm even gonna have leftovers they gave me so much. Walk your dog out there, order some, get some fresh air in the park!

3 months agoSO SO GOOD! and they are so friendly they gave me a free soda when they absolutely did not have to! Great experience! Dirty side potato 10/10

4 months agoI give this place 3 out of 5. Reason being I didn’t even get to taste too much of the brisket. It was just too much going on. My friend ordered the Cajun and that was pretty good however he explained they ran out of shrimp. My opinion it should have been discounted. Everything is too overly price and I expected something totally different from what I received. A bit too spicy for the brisket and too salty for the Cajun. The chicken and fries were ok. The fries were delicious. I will pass on taking a second jab at it. Good experience!

a year agoI had the Cajun and Dad had the Brisket. Both were absolutely fabulous. The Cajun was just a little spicy but all of the flavors melted together perfectly. The Brisket could easily stand up against Franklin and Central BBQ. It was a perfect combination of beans, cheese and grilled onions. I highly recommend Anything's Baked Potato to anyone visiting Austin Texas.

a year agoThe amount of food I received for the price I paid is not cool. The wings (3) 1 small and two were cut in half barely any chicken on the wings to be a 6 piece wing order, I received a handful of fries. My first time was great but today I did not appreciate that I was cheated. I will not come back or recommend this place again. If I do not receive a refund, then cool but not ever again… Don’t pick and choose days you serve quality food. Denied my refund but hey when you start screwing people over you gone lose!

3 years agoWow, just wow. Lovely little truck stop type venue. The loaded baked potatoes (jacket potatoes) are amazing. We had a Chicken fried chicken and a Veggie Baked potato. The flavour and care in the ingredients is really really good. 5 mins from the Hotel Indigo and highly recommended if you're hungry and want something filling and tasty. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
